Are you looking for the Sustainability Update website?

The County is currently working on a comprehensive update to the General Plan/Local Coastal Program and modernization of the County Code, called the Sustainability Policy and Regulatory Update. Please visit the Sustainability Update website to learn more: www.sccoplanning.com/SustainabilityUpdate.

The Sustainable Santa Cruz County Plan (SSCC) establishes a community-based vision for a more sustainable way-of-life in Live Oak, Soquel, and Aptos. The plan integrates the County’s land use and transportation policies in a way that protects environmental resources, supports economic growth, and increases access to opportunity for all County residents. The SSCC was accepted by the Board of Supervisors in October 2014.

The SSCC vision, guiding principles, focus area plans, and implementation strategies provide the foundation of the Sustainability Update. To learn more about how the SSCC is incorporated into the County’s current work, please visit the Sustainability Update website: www.sccoplanning.com/SustainabilityUpdate.
